Getting Started With Your Shopping Cart
Once you have purchased your WebStarts shopping cart system, you will be able to click the "shopping cart" icon and you will be automatically logged into your shopping cart account. This tutorial will walk you through the basic steps to start selling products online with your WebStarts shopping cart and ecommerce solution.
Process Credit Cards Directly Through a Payment Gateway
WebStarts has teamed up with Merchant Warehouse to provide merchant accounts with the lowest rates possible on the internet. If you click "Apply For Merchant Account", you will be taken to their website where you can get everything that you need to start processing all major credit cards directly on your website. Be sure to ask for an Authorize.net payment gateway to use with your Shopping Cart system. Click "settings", then "ecommerce" to enter your Authorize.net API login and Transaction Key.
Note: If you do not wish to sign up for a merchant account and payment gateway, you can always use a free paypal account to process payments. Learn More About Paypal.
Add a Product
Adding products to your account is a few simple steps. Click "Products", then click "Add Products" to get started. You can choose whether to charge tax, shipping, etc... You can also choose whether this is a recurring payment. You can also set a custom graphic for this product. When someone goes to purchase this product, they will see this graphic at the top of their page. Finish the product by adding a thank you message to be sent to the customer, a download link, catalog thumbnail pictures, or add size, color or other options for your product. Learn More About Adding Products.
Place "Add to Cart" or "Quick Buy" Buttons to Your Website
Click "Get Product Links" to generate the HTML code necessary to place "add to cart" or "quick buy" buttons directly to your website. Simply copy and paste this code into your website to see the button on your WebStarts website. Learn More.
Send Broadcast Emails
